So I took Taylor and Beckett to the Madison Kids Expo and besides the millions of people and strollers, it was pretty fun (well, pre-meltdown). At one point, one of the booths was a karate school and they asked if Taylor would want to be a part of a demonstration class, which of course if there's a "stage" and people watching, she's all over it. She looked so tiny and unsure of what the hell was happening, it was adorable :) She also got to meet Bucky Badger, an elephant, a moose, a dog, etc. which is a huge difference from last year when she wouldn't go near any of the people-dressed-as-animals. And my beautiful Beckett, well, he was his usual chilled out self in his usual position: in the carseat wishing he could be running around with his sister. Taylor topped off her afternoon by hosting a little story time for her brother :)

Sweet, sweet, sweet!! What a great thing to have for kids! And I love the photo of Taylor reading to the Bear. Looks like he wanted to get his hands on that book! It will be so fun when he starts walking and can do more with his Big Sister!
ReplyDeleteThose were absolutely darling photos. And my favorite is also the one of Taylor reading to Bubba! She's got her legs perfectly straight in front of her being the "teacher" I can tell by the body language. And Bubba is the exuberant student who wants to "help." Wish I could have seen the karate demo with Tay. It had to be so cute.
ReplyDeleteWhat on earth is a Kids Expo and where do I sign up?
ReplyDeleteLooks like T had a great time. I love the pic of her with Bucky Badger-- in her dope boots, karate headband, and genuine smile. B looks amazing in that first photo-- I think instead of the phrase "soft as a baby's butt," it should be "soft as Beckett's lil' kissable face."
Great post!
