Love green beans?....not so much
Beckett appears to not love green beans as much as Taylor did (and still does!) at his age. He doesn't necessarily make an "I don't like it" face, so much as spits it out at every bite. It cracks me up enough to keep giving it to him, though :) It's also super-fun to wipe down a million spittles of green bean puree spread over a 2 foot complete radius around the highchair. Lucky he's so stinking adorable!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! This is a contender for Best Video Ever. I'm still laughing out loud and I've already watched it 3 times.
ReplyDeleteObviously Li'l Beckett is destined to be a leader of people. I, for one, am taking this lesson to heart. The next time I feel that I am being oppressed, I will institute this strategy, throwing my arms out wide and striking the pose at 0:17 (or maybe at 0:42) and say, "Write a memo? Ppppthhhht!" "Cook dinner? Pppppthhht!" "Pay taxes to fund war but close schools and libraries? PPPPPPPPPPPTTHHHHHT!!" "Cut my toenails? Ppppptthhhht!" Then I will hiccup and call it a day.
I look forward to his future teachings.
He's so happy and not at all pissed that you keep giving him green beans. He just sprays them all over and smiles and goes for the next spoonful that he can spray all over again. Then he spreads his arms for applause. Gotta love him!
ReplyDeleteHow did I miss this video until today? I ditto Wisco's comments--I too will institute this strategy. But I want to be spitting out green beans at the same time!! HA HA.
ReplyDeleteAnd Grandma's comment: he must have turned it into a game--especially with Mommy being entertained by it all!
