Halloween 2010

Me, my Dorothy, and my shark heading out to get some candy loot. By the way, we totally scored in our new 'hood. We headed up the street from our house, where MANY houses gave out full-size candy bars!! Woot woot! Some elderly ladies even gave straight up King-size, can you believe it?? Times have changed since the gross little orange and black wrapped peanut butter nougat things we used to get :-)

  1. What?! Next Halloween, Hello Middleton! C'mon, full-size is ridiculous, but KING SIZE? Those elderly ladies know what's up. Taylor may have to volunteer to rake some leaves or something when she gets a little older, just to repay the kindness.

And seriously, what were those orange and black wrapped thingies? I know exactly what you're talking about and they were always last in the candy stash. Do they even make those things anymore? I bet my beloved Farm and Fleet has them.

That is one cute Dorothy. I can't see the red shoes in this picture, but I know they're there. She's so stinkin' adorable I want to give her a king-size candy bar just to keep that smile on her face. Did she have a good time?

And that shark. Oooooh, so scary. Eek, don't eat me, big fierce shark. Oh no!!!! Aaaaah!! Oh, wait, is he sleeping?

  2. Yeah, I'll be trick-or-treating in Middleton next year. Haven't been since forever, but with some knee pads and a good costume, who will guess? But your Reese's looked awfully good. yum. You have one cool neighborhood for Halloween! And Dorothy and the witch are both adorable--the shark IS NOT sleeping, Wisco. He's watching you very carefully. And sweetly--very, very sweetly!!!

Weren't those orange and black wrapped thingies the ones that got stuck in your teeth? Agh. If you ate one it definitely slowed down your candy intake!

  3. FYI, as you get older those orange and black peanut butter things start to taste better and better. When I was a kid, I think I threw those things out. But now I have actually bought a whole bag and eaten them for a treat. And yes, Farm and Fleet has them at Halloween, but of course!

The picture of you and your two special babes is darling. You in the witches hat is just adorable and sets the whole tone for the pic.
