That is a lovely Mother's Day gift! Not too consumerist, good for the planet, and individualized. It's already started; before you know it, your XMas tree is going to be full of homemade ornaments.
That is so sweet! So did she get that it was a special present for Mommy or did she just hand it to you as she hurried by on her way to the sandbox? Either way, it's a heartwarming present. I love it.
Well, when I picked her up, she went and got it off the counter at school and gave it to me. When the teachers said, "Taylor, remember what to say to Mommy?" and she looked at me for a full 5 seconds, then said, "I painted AND potty today!" Soooooo....not sure she had any idea why in the hell she just handed me a flower :)
